14k Yellow Gold Saint John the Baptist Round Medal Pendant

About this piece

This 14k yellow gold pendant is a round Saint John the Baptist medal, worn on a chain through the fixed bail visible at the top. The face combines two finishes: a polished outer border frames a satin-textured center scene, creating a quiet contrast that keeps the eye on the relief without competing with it. The engraved inscription reads 'SAINT JOHN BAPTIST' along the upper arc and 'PRAY FOR US' along the lower, encircling a detailed depiction of the baptism scene — two figures rendered in the die-struck relief, a dove above them, and a landscape suggested in the background.

The medal is solid 14k yellow gold with a flat back, as the profile photo shows — a clean, unadorned reverse that sits close against the skin. The scale image confirms a compact, wearable size that layers well under a collar or sits neatly on its own on a medium-length chain.

Intended for everyday devotional wear, the piece is at home dressed up or kept simple. The polished rim will respond to a gentle buff with a soft cloth; the satin center holds its quiet finish without much upkeep. A meaningful choice for a baptism gift, a First Communion, or any occasion calling for a lasting keepsake in solid gold.
