About this piece
This 14k yellow gold pendant centers an oval opal cabochon in a classic prong setting, encircled by a halo of round blue sapphires set in individual prongs that radiate outward like a sunburst. The opal shows the soft iridescent color play characteristic of natural, untreated stones — shifting between white, pale green, and warm pink depending on the light. A polished fluted bail completes the piece, sized to slide onto most standard chains.
The pendant is cast in solid 14k yellow gold, keeping the overall weight light enough for everyday wear while giving the setting a reassuring substance.
