14k Yellow Gold Freshwater Pearl Ball Drop Earrings

About this piece

These 14k yellow gold drop earrings suspend a white freshwater cultured pearl beneath a layered arrangement of polished gold ball elements, secured at the ear with a post and push-back closure. As the photos show, a domed ball stud sits at the lobe, connected by a small twisted-link bail to a second polished gold bead capped with tiny granule details, from which the round white pearl hangs as the focal point — a simple, considered silhouette that reads equally well close up and at a distance.

The pearl's soft, creamy white tone contrasts quietly with the warm yellow gold, and the semi-round shape gives each pearl a gentle, organic character rather than a rigid uniformity. The overall drop sits close enough to the ear, as the on-model photo confirms, to wear comfortably through a full day without catching on clothing or feeling weighty.

They move naturally between occasions — paired with a collar for an office meeting, left on through a dinner, or worn as the only jewelry needed with an occasion dress. The post closure with a silicone back keeps them secure, and a soft cloth stored with them will maintain the pearl's natural luster over time.
