About this piece
These 14k yellow gold hoop earrings are shaped from two intertwined strands — one polished smooth, one rope-textured — that spiral together to form a single continuous circle, worn through a hinged wire-and-clutch closure at the ear.
The contrast between the warm, mirror-bright gold and the cooler diamond-cut rope strand is visible throughout the hoop, giving the piece its two-tone character without the use of any gemstones or added color. At roughly an inch and a half in diameter, they sit just below the earlobe as shown on the model, substantial enough to register clearly without pulling at the ear.
